Thanks to your generosity, the $12,334.70 in donated funds was delivered to Family Supportive Housing.
These funds will go towards a few summer camp options: an in-house shelter camp, local YMCA day camps, and a Camp Campbell day camp. Many thanks to the 42 individuals and families who contributed to POP’s Kids to Camp ministry, helping to change lives and relieve the stresses of homelessness that the shelter children experience day after day.

For over a year Prince of Peace has been a participant and major driver for Rotating Safe Car Park (RSCP) a shelter for individuals and families living in vehicles.
Preparation for being a monthly host is more complicated during COVID-19, but Prince of Peace is always up to the task. These dining tables are 8 feet long and thoroughly cleaned with bleach between each use. Mobile COVID testing is made available to both the shelter guests and volunteers. There have been zero COVID cases within the shelter or volunteers to date. Prince of Peace has even been able to increase hospitality to include extra meals during the pandemic. All this is worth it to provide hospitality for a ministry that has grown in need. |
