Youth Gatherings

Senior High Summer Trips give our soon to be adults a chance to explore some of the real world's complexities, and to see their capacity to help their neighbors, near or far.  Our Pastors and adult volunteers help make sure this is a challenging, safe, and fun time for everyone.

In 2024 our High School youth and pastors traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana for the National Youth Gathering. During the trip they worshiped with 15,000 youth from around the US, practiced service to others, and just had fun while connecting with the national church and local Synod.

The High School summer trips are on a three year rotation.

• The next gathering we will attend is the Western States Youth Gathering in 2026.
• The next National Gathering will be to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2027.  

Annual Youth Dinner and Silent Auction

All these wonderful trips are made possible by the support and donations of the people of Prince of Peace, and donations from local businesses.

Each year our Jr. and Sr. High youth put together a social event to help raise those funds and give a fun, "Thank You," back to the community. 

Our Youth Dinner and Auctions include dinner, an auction, and some entertainment, all planned by our high school youth, with support from the congregation. Each year is a different theme and experience.
