Friday evening, Saturday, and Holiday rates are $200/hr. The rate includes access to the kitchen and patio. 4 hour minimum. Set-up and cleaning afterwards are your responsibility. Week-day rates are lower, but there is very limited availability. Non-profits may receive reduced rates under some circumstances.
There is a $500 room rental and cleaning deposit required at the time of booking to reserve your date. Please call the office to discuss your event 408-253-7167.
Event Insurance Required
In addition, you will be required to show proof of event insurance, that names Prince of Peace as additional insured, with your final payment. Some homeowner's or renter's insurance companies will provide event insurance. Alternatively, an internet search will result in multiple companies that will provide event insurance along with a certificate that can be shared with the office.
Hours and Availability
Prince of Peace is a very busy church. Saturdays, and some week days during the summer, the room is available from 9:00 am through 10:00 pm. Any other day of the week the Hall is only available for partial day rentals. We do not book events on Sundays.
Food and Drink
Outside catering is welcome and encouraged as on-site caterers will often handle clean-up. Use of the kitchen is included in the rental. The kitchen is ideal for serving.
Set-up and Clean-up
Renters are responsible for their own event set-up and clean-up. You must account for your set-up and clean-up time when booking your event.
Clean-up involves leaving the room as you found it: put away tables and chairs to proper storage containers, take the trash to dumpster, light sweep or mop, if needed.
If you are renting equipment, or your caterer would like to pick-up their equipment the day after your event, you must make arrangements with the office before your event.

Pre-renovation table set-up
We have approx. 10 six-foot round tables (seats 8-10), and assorted rectangular tables, as well as approx. 100 black and 150 tan folding chairs available for use included in your rental. You are responsible for set-up and take down. There is an indoor sound system and outlets for a DJ or band. Operating the equipment will be up to the renter. We do not staff sound technicians. The system is capable of playing music through a digital device connected through an earphone jack or bluetooth connection and CDs. There is a drop down screen and projector for you to connect your device.
You will have access to the kitchen. The kitchen has 8 electric burners, 4 ovens and power-sprayer faucet. This is not a commercial kitchen. Facilities are better used to maintain temperature rather than to cook a meal. Refrigerator space is limited and must be requested in advance.
