Sharing the message

We "Share the message of God's love" by making our church "home" a welcoming place.

At Prince of Peace we are a "show we are Christian's by our love" kind of congregation, not a knock-on-doors kind of group. 

The list below includes opportunities to be welcoming.

You can participate in these, or any other activities at Prince of Peace by contacting the office.

Coffee Hour Hosts

• Prepare and serve coffee and light refreshments in between Sunday services
• Sign-up on Sundays
• Monthly "captains" ensure all dates are covered

Bread Ministry

• Make and/or deliver a loaf of bread to a visitor’s home during the week they visited with us 
• Bread is a “No strings attached” gift 
• Bakers and Delivery teams are scheduled for two week assignments per quarter

Evangelism Team

• A volunteer team who help connect new and current members with groups and ministries within PoP
• Conducts the Small Group Ministry Fair
• Coordinates the New Member Sundays

Game Night/
​Patio Party Hosts

• Arrive a few minutes early on Game nights to open doors, turn on lights, fill drink pitchers with water, set-up games
• For Patio Parties: Organize or provide the main dish & make drinks (water, ided tea or lemonade)
• Greet visitors
