​Give your child a week they'll never forget! Summer Day Camp at Prince of Peace — in partnership with Mt. Cross Ministries — is a vibrant, hands-on experience where kids laugh, grow, create, and discover what it means to truly Wear Love.

July 13-17, 2026

• 9:00am-3:00pm Monday through Thursday, and 9:00am to Noon on Friday
• For children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade

Our Theme 

Wear Love Inspired by Colossians 3:12–14, campers won't just talk about compassion, kindness, humility, and forgiveness — they'll live them through storytelling, movement, hands-on activities, and reflection. All are welcome, regardless of faith background.

Sundays

​Children in Worship

Worship is a serious and seriously joyous time, only made better by the inclusion of children.

Children, noises and fidgets and all, are an integral part of what God is doing in our midst and we are delighted to share this time with them.

The Children's Sermon is the lesson geared towards an audience with a shorter attention span. Children (with or without an adult) are invited forward for a time with the pastor or pastors which is focused on a child's thoughts and responses.

Sunday Fun-day!

Our Sunday Funday program is primarily for children in K-5th Grade.

​We gather together for our Kid's Sermon during worship, and then spend about 25 minutes telling stories, doing crafts, playing games, and learning about God, ourselves, and one another! We encourage kids to ask questions, be themselves, and leave our church knowing that God and this congregation loves them, and that church is fun!

Kids 1st grade and under are also invited to use our Joy Room during our worship service if they would like!

Communion Classes

• Occasionally the pastors lead two class sessions on Holy Communion
• The class is preparation for First Communion, a Celebration of Communion, or a refresher for any age
