8:45 am Casual Worship

Our first worship service takes place at 8:45 am. The structure is casual. Volunteers to read and usher are recruited as they arrive that day. The Pastors wear collars, but not robes. The music is a mixture praise songs and traditional hymns led by a song-leader or band. 

10:45 am Traditional Worship

Our second service offers the same sermon and structure in a more traditional format. The Pastors wear robes. Our choir, accompanied by organ or piano, leads the congregation in hymns. The congregation sings using the hymnals in the pews.

Special Services

A few times per year we combine the two services into one for a special event. Confirmation Sunday is a great example: we ALL want to welcome our 8th graders as they become adult members of the church. There is also our annual Christmas Program where the Sunday School children act out a modern telling of the Christmas Story. Special services are advertised well in advance through our weekly email messages, Facebook, and webpages.

Summer Worship:
​One service at 9:45

Two service times can sometimes lead to two communities. Prince of Peace blends both music  styles into one service at 9:45 am from May through mid-September.
​Joining the services in the summer allows us to get to know each other a little better and try something new.

Summer is a great time to experiment with music like this "Hymn Jam". Musicians of all ages and skills joined together to lead the worship music.
