Confirmation 

​Fun, faith formation, & adoption for 6th to 8th graders

Sunday Afternoons, once per month. 

• Confirmation (also know as Affirmation of Baptism) is a usually a 3-year program that begins in the autumn of 6th grade and ends with Rite of Confirmation in the spring of 8th grade.
• Expectations are flexible, based on a family's or student's needs.
• The Prince of Peace program uses a small group mentoring model where students are arranged in groups of 4-6 students along with caring adult mentors from the congregation. There is also lots of time for fun and relationship building. 
• Students learn about the Bible, the Lutheran church, other faiths, and develop lasting friendships we each other.
• Confirmation is about giving our youth tools and skills to see the world from a (in this case) Lutheran perspective.
• This time is meant to help the whole person. We talk about faith and how it affects different parts of our lives.
• Pastor Sara and Director of Youth & Service, Drew Ajer, participate in this faith development program.
