Celebrating God's Grace

We "Celebrate God's Grace and Glory" through worship. The following activities are essential to our worship together.

To assist with these, or any other tasks around church, contact the office for more information.

Altar Guild a.k.a. Communion
set-up

• Prepare the sanctuary for Sunday service, including banners and communion
• Work usually done on Saturdays or Sunday morning before  worship  
• Work with a partner from a standard check list

Communion Bread Suppliers

• Bring the loaves that are distributed at Communion

---

Communion Servers

• Assist the Pastors in serving communion
• Recruited by monthly assigned Church Council Members
• Children who have completed Communion classes are welcome to serve the grape juice

---

Counters

• Work in a team count the offering on special occasions
• Count directly after the last service and make the deposit at the bank across from church

---

Greeters

• Stand by the Sanctuary doors and welcome everyone who attends service
• Dates are scheduled in advance
• You will be called a few times per year and asked to greet

---

Lectors (Readers)

• Read the Sunday scripture lessons during the morning worship service
• People who enjoy reading out loud, no experience necessary
• Early service Lectors are recruited on Sunday mornings before worship
• Later service Lectors are scheduled ahead through a coordinator

Sound Board Managers

• Run the sound board & or slides in the sanctuary during the Sunday services
• People who are comfortable and enjoy working with a computers and technology
• Instruction on request

---

Ushers

• Volunteers who hand out bulletins, collect the offering, assist in guiding members through communion
• People willing to help during the service
• Dates are coordinated between volunteer and Scheduler
• Coordinators give direction at worship

---

Coffee Hosts

• Prepare and serve coffee and light refreshments in between Sunday services
• Sign-up on Sundays
• Monthly "captains" ensure all dates are covered
