PoP youth engaged in Synod

This past weekend many of our high schoolers attended the Sierra Pacific Synod Youth Committee's annual High School Retreat at Mt Cross.

One of our youth, Andrew M made the amazing decision to run, and then was elected, onto the Sierra Pacific Synod Youth Committee.

This committee organizes, plans, and runs retreats for children and youth from all over the Sierra Pacific Synod, as well as representing our youth population at our Synod Assembly in May.

This committee is a wonderful opportunity to grow in one's connections with their community, their wider church body, and with God. We pray for Andrew as he takes up this leadership position, and helps to guide and serve our church in the coming year. We look forward to celebrating and supporting Andrew as he embarks on this journey.
