Greetings PoP Community,
The leadership of the church has been in conversation with other faith leaders, our bishop, and one another as we navigate this unique and stressful time together. Our priority is the health and safety of all people. Our secondary care is ensuring that our people have access to what they need spiritually and emotionally.
We are live-streaming our worship services. The link to the stream is here. We completely honor and respect if a person does not feel safe coming to church. These are hard times for folks who are immuno-compromised or in the vulnerable group. Please know that we care and if you would like a pastoral visit, we are available. We have postponed our Lenten Meal Groups until further notice. Wednesday evening worship continues and will also be live-streamed. And for the sake of our emotional well-being: Learn how to connect via social media and YouTube during FED times the next two weeks: Join us in the fellowship hall with your personal smart phones, tablets or laptops and we can help you connect and learn to use Google Hang-outs, Facebook, YouTube or any other online platform. We are hoping this can help us stay connected digitally as a community. We all know this is a fluid situation and that we are making our best efforts to care for one another. We will follow the lead and suggestions of the Santa Clara county health department. We are also in conversation as a staff about what to do in case of quarantine or more severe restrictions. If you find yourself in need of being quarantined, short on any supplies, or in need of a friendly voice to pray with or laugh with, please call the church office or the Pastors’ cell phones. Peace and Wellness, Pr. Sara
