Find out more about the ministries outside of Prince of Peace that we support financially and with our time and energy. We are a bottom-up, not a top-down organization: All of the agencies and organizations we support come from the passions of our participants, not our Pastors.
Each month we will feature the special needs of one of our organizations. Food insecurity is a year-round problem. We deliver food to a local pantry as well as stocking the mini pantry on the corner of our parking lot.
This is the ONLY shelter in the south bay that keeps families together. In addition to shelter, FSH provides financial management classes and better job opportunities for adults and homework support for children. We make dinner at the shelter for all of the families quarterly.
Lutheran World Relief is a top rated financially responsible charity that not only helps with disaster response, but works to provide lasting solutions to poverty, injustice and human suffering.
Brings God's hope and healing to those affected by disasters in the United States and around the globe. Response is community based and on-going well after the initial event.

Mt. Cross is a camp in the Santa Cruz mountains. Prince of Peace participates in several of the Mt. Cross ministries including women's retreat, Confirmation retreat, Day Camp, and sending shelter children to summer camp here.
Kids to Camp - We send 35-40 children living in the Family Supportive Shelter to camp every year before the pandemic. We hope to do it again this year. Our fund drive enables children who would never get a camp experience to return to school with a story of what they did last summer.
Frequent traveler? What do you do with all those mini shampoos and soaps? Bring them to Prince of Peace and we will turn them into health kits for the homeless and those in transition. Also a great place to donate all those mini-toothpastes and toothbrushes from your dental visits.
West Valley Community Services provides direct assistance and referrals to the west valley communities of Santa Clara county.
They offer a mobile food pantry with on-site social services.
Volunteers meet on Sunday afternoons to give low-income people a hand-up. Volunteering can include reading to children, offering a workshop, or stocking supplies.
