Wednesday Work Crew Keeps PoP Looking Good

Although we don't know when it will be, I believe we are all looking forward to being together as a congregation again!!! Especially in our beautiful property!
 
Let us give you a quick update regarding the Property Committee. We continue to make progress! The Wednesday Work Crew is meeting again on Wednesday mornings at 9am and practicing the appropriate Social Distancing. It is not the whole crew, but work is being done. They continue to be the backbone of effort for the property work! They have been cutting downs trees, prepping for painting the hall, weeding and many other needed maintenance activities around the property. We lost a significant member this past week and celebrated his contributions - Michael T. and family is returning to Germany after a much needed vacation this month - Michael thank you for your many contributions! You will be sorely missed!
 
We have begun the process of upgrading the nursery play yard - we are replacing the bark, creating a more private yard by inserting colorful slats in the chain link fence, and adding some additional equipment.
 
In addition, we have started the process of painting the hall - at this point we are prepping the walls in order to paint - which we all know that is the hardest part! 
 
We are still asking for donations to the Property Capital Fund Drive. We have raised to date around $28,000. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS!!! We have spent a little over $19,000 on roof repair, kitchen dishwasher, and sewer work. We have a couple of very large projects yet to go - specifically the final Sewer replacement ($12,000) and the new roof on the sanctuary ($60,000) which we would like to do this year.
