Sr High Youth will travel to the National Gathering of ELCA Youth in July 2012
In 2011 the Jr & Sr High Youth traveled to Rock-n-Water, a spiritual adventure camp, in California. They travel to Mexico for mission trips on alternating years.

Senior High Youth Group
Every Sunday night from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Beginning Septeber 25, 2011
Join us for senior high youth group. We spend time together playing games, discussing current issues, praying, and growing in our faith. All are welcome, JOIN US!!!

Senior High Worship Band
Rehearsals every Sunday night from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
The Senior High Worship Band is open to all youth with an interest in sharing the spirit through music, regardless of skill level. They play once per month (usally the 3rd Sunday) at either the 9:00 or both Worship services. The Sr. High Band plays both contemporary and traditional pieces.
Junior High Confirmation Program
Prince of Peace's Confirmation Ministry is a 3 year program that begins in the fall of the 6th grade and ends with Rite of Confirmation in the spring of the 8th grade. The program uses a small group mentoring model where students are arranged in small groups of 4-6 students along with 1 caring adult mentor.
Curriculum
Prince of Peace uses the Augsburg's "Here We Stand Confirmation" program. Topical lessons will be presented in an entire group learning event. The main goal of the learning event is to combine an interesting presentation with creative interruptions of video, skits, and art. Following each learning event small groups will engage in a time of sharing, discussion, prayer, and care soothe Christ's love in experienced in a very real and personal way.
This year we will be focusing on the Old & New Testements
When is Confirmation
Confirmation takes place Tuesday nights from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Along with fall & spring retreats and a week long trip in the summer.
