The children's Christmas Pageant is a wonderful annual event at Prince of Peace that everyone looks forward to. The children prepare for weeks through the Sunday School program.

Sonshine Club Easter Egg hunt in 2008

One of WAVE's 2008 service projects was to plant flowers on the church grounds. They also packed groceries at a food shelter and delivered hand made teddy bears to a hospitol children's ward.
Jesus made it clear when he said "let the little ones come to me" that children hold a special place in the Kingdom of God. At Prince of Peace our children are a tremendous source of joy, laughter, and fun. There are numerous children's events and programs happening all the time with Sunday School as the foundation.
With more than 60 children under the age of 12 at Prince of Peace, it seems you can't go far without hearing the voices and seeing the faces of our precious little ones. Families find a place at Prince of Peace and their children find friendship, faith, and spiritual development. From the Christmas Pageant to the annual Church picnic to Sunday School every week to mom's groups meeting during the week, children play an important role in life here.

WAVE is a monthly group for children in grades 3 - 5 and gives an opportunity for older children to group together in fellowship through community service and recreational events. The benefits of friendships and connections formed during this age are important to your child's further connection to their POP family.
WAVE leaders communicate with the kids and parents through their own website: PopWAVE . Contact one of the leaders (Jim LeSage, Jon Linthacum, Ken Pyle & rick Roy) for access.
