​Children in Worship

Worship is a serious and seriously joyous time, only made better by the inclusion of children.

Children, noises and fidgets and all, are an integral part of what God is doing in our midst and we are delighted to share this time with them.

The Children's Sermon is the lesson geared towards an audience with a shorter attention span. Children (with or without an adult) are invited forward for a time with the pastor or pastors which is focused on a child's thoughts and responses.

A Sunday School that welcomes You!

Starting in the fall 2016, Sunday School became part of an educational and inter-generational faith formation time between our two Sunday worship services.

Occasionally we will meet as classes of youth, and occasionally we will gather in groups which do not have age boundaries.

While we love the inclusion of adults, we also understand that this is a busy life.  Parents, please know you do not have to stay on campus during Sunday School time as long as we have the appropriate waivers and contact information.

Sonshine Club: Young child fellowship 

Age 3 through 2nd grade
Occasional Saturdays during the school year

• Arts, crafts, games & age-appropriate service
• Snacks and play
• Fun times for kids  with  a caring adult church member

 Wave: Grade school fellowship & service 

Designed for 3rd through 5th graders
Occasional Saturdays during the school year

• Adventures, outdoor activities, and service opportunities
• Onsite & offsite events
• Fun times for kids with a caring church adult

Communion Classes

• Occasionally the pastors lead two class sessions on Holy Communion
• The class is preparation for First Communion, a Celebration of Communion, or a refresher for any age
  
• Geared especially for families
